Greetings in the Name of the Lord,

 

 

Living Water continues to be blessed by so many people attending events and services.  As your Pastor I am so blessed to witness God’s Spirit upon the lives of families and the amazing Spiritual changes among His people.  Most of you have come following an Outreach event and/or personal invitation through someone in the Church. Along with prayer, these remain our primary opportunities to grow in this wonderful community.  Some that are reading this email are friends and faithful members of another Church who continue to pray, support, and like the updates from Living Water Church in Morris.  Thank you to all.

 

God is leading this growing, vibrant Church on a journey to move to the next level of Morning Worship.  More than 100 in attendance.  To accomplish this, prayer must continue and additional resources are required.  The following list serves as an awareness to needs at Living Water Church that you may add to your prayer list or have resources, answers, ideas, or a personal interest.  Some may even consider a “Mission Trip” to Living Water for the next 6 months or so and assist with organization, leadership, encouragement, or something God has laid upon your heart.  We would be honored!!!

- LW Praise Team is looking for additional members

- LW Praise Band – Drummer, Bass Guitar, other instruments?

- Nursery Director

- Vacation Bible School – Teachers and Assistants, Snack, Supplies, Create background Props, Nursery Care

- Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) – Living Water Church will be soon starting this program for the Community – We need Nursery and Toddler Care takers. 

                                 Some one to LOVE on the Children during the 90 minute formal session for MOPs.

- Back To School Fun Fair – School Supplies, food, Face Painters, People to Oversee Games, Funds to Purchase Supplies

- Come out and attend a Sunday Morning Service.  A young, growing Church gets very excited when guests arrive every Sunday.

- A Pastor must always offer the following opportunity – Financial Gifts are always welcome to further God’s work in the Kingdom.  We are presented with many opportunities to help others through financial assistance.   We would like to build our Compassionate Ministry Fund to continue support for “We Care” local Food Pantry, St. Vincent’s Table, and individuals that Living Water Church helps each month.  Please send to Living Water Church of the Nazarene, P.O. * Sunday morning’s include a Breakfast during fellowship from 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM

* Sunday School for All ages begins at 9:45 AM.  Adults will discuss an “Overview of the Bible” Outline Included – (4 weeks), “God’s Purpose in my Life”. (4 weeks), and “Living Water and the Great Commission” (4 weeks).

* 10:45 AM Sunday Worship

 

* June 13, Monday @ 7:00 PM - Church Board Meeting – Canal Port Conference Room

* June 19, Sunday @1:00 PM – Father’s Day Picnic @ Channahon Central Park

* June 19 & 20 – Chicago Central District Assembly (Information Brochure Enclosed).  Pastor Steve will be Ordained on Monday Evening during District Assembly.  Please plan to attend.

* July 4th – @ 3:00 – 10:00 PM – Picnic & Fireworks at Pastor Steve and MaryAnn’s Home – Everyone is Welcome – 22959 S. Frances Way, Channahon, IL

* July 23 – All Church Pig Roast and Picnic at the Smith Ranch in Braidwood

* Vacation Bible School – July 31st through August 4th – 6:30 PM

* August 7, Sunday 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM – Living Water’s 4th Annual Back To School Fun Fair – Canal Port Park (1 block East of Church)  Free Food, Games, and School Supplies
