Living Water Welcome
Greetings in the name of the Lord,
It is difficult to imagine that May 2007 was our first gathering of people for the Morris New Start Church of the Nazarene. Our heart was to re-engage family, friends, and acquaintances who have drifted from the church. We wanted to help them and other spiritual seekers become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ because we believe that following Jesus is the only way to experience life at its best. Now, approaching 3 years later, we remain in awe at what God is doing. Life transformation, heart change, Holy Communion, Baptisms, young and old, relationships restored and renewed, weddings, funerals, and new direction for Christ followers of Living Water.
Sometimes I will refer to Living Water as an “Acts 2 church.” For us, that means courageous leaders, gifted staff and teachers, devoted followers working together in an innovative, biblically functioning community to create defining moments—moments that inspire us, motivate us and mobilize us. People who are seeking to make changes in their life and others who have found a fresh faith find that Living Water is a safe environment where they can encounter truth and love.
Our desire is that people will discover what they were made for so they can acknowledge, accept, and act on God’s leading in every area of their lives. Following God’s will is an awesome and joy-filled life journey.
We believe that by providing transformational teaching about the Bible along with transformational worship and community, we will find meaning and inspiration for life. It ignites a passion for Christ and His cause and changes the trajectory of our lives. We become hope-filled. We experience remarkable ways to seek and follow God. And they re-discover life.
Each weekend experience is about an hour and ten minutes. There’s worship music, artistic elements including multi-media, and practical biblical teaching. We provide transformational teaching that applies to everyday life. Pastor Ashley lead our children with understandable teaching of God’s love and grace. Christy, our worship leader, and Praise Team members set the “table”, God’s table preparing an open heart through music and worship songs that inspire.
The dress is casual. Everybody does. Take a look around. There are married couples, singles, young people, seasoned people, professionals, laborers, stay-at-home moms…people come to Living Water each weekend. Each has a unique life story, just like you do. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, you’re welcome to come and check out what God is doing at Living Water Church of the Nazarene.
Invite someone this weekend to Living Water. You will walk a little higher when a friend is standing next to you Celebrating and Worshiping Christ.

Acts 2:42-46 The Fellowship of the Believers
42They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Pastor Steve
